The workshop will focus on the main principles of CAD/CAM design of digital dentures and techniques to ensure you can efficiently produce accurately fitting digitally designed and made prostheses.

Starting with the basics of scanning protocol, participants will be able to see CAD:CAM systems to practice designing dentures with exocad software. We will then move onto the production phases of the CAD/CAM workflow and explore the fundamentals of creating dentures using 5-axis milling.

This will include:

• Exploring the entire CAD protocol
• Key points to ensure well-fitting dentures
• Tips and tricks to avoid problems with breakage and delamination
• Guidance on how to design dentures digitally
• Fabrication and finishing of dentures with milling using Vita materials and vhf hardware
